What is it?
This is the annual fund-raising event for the Spokane Rose Society. We will be holding a sale of miniature roses
at the annual Garden Expo.
The minis will range in height from about 12" to 30" which makes them perfect for borders, small areas,
containers, splashes of color here and there.
All of these roses are grown on their own roots. One of the big advantages of this is that when we have a rough
winter the roots will survive, even if you have to cut the upper plant all the way down.
Then, the same plant bounces back from those, rather than some other "root stock" variety. Compared to the
grafted root variety of roses, the "own root" roses tend to gorw and look better after a couple of years.
These roses are also as tough as any other rose and tend to be pretty disease resistant.
Come down to the show on the 14th and see what we have! They're all beautiful.
